Teaching Plan

Pelita Nusantara School follows the Cambridge Curriculum. As an International school, they align their standards to the competencies of their national educational system and the standard of the said curriculum. For me, it is holistic because they form students to be internationally-competent as they take advance level of subjects taught in the school.

They have a lesson plan form. I just filled up the form and put details in the class activities. We are guided in making lesson plan because some subjects we handled have teacher’s guide. Even the objectives, lesson and activities are provided, I still create my own lesson plan and add some activities that will achieve the learning objectives. I make sure that my prepared lessons are in line with the objectives and it is measurable. My cooperating teachers guided me in preparing the lessons and taught me the teaching strategies appropriate for Primary 1. In my final demonstration teaching, I followed the detailed lesson plan I use in the Philippines.
